Privacy and Data Protection Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide the service: name, contact number, location, and booking history.

2. Data protection (cybersecurity)

Ihala protects user data using advanced encryption protocols and complies with the controls of the National Cybersecurity Authority to prevent any leak of health or personal information.

3. Data sharing

Your personal data is not shared with any third party for marketing purposes. Only the necessary data is shared with the service provider you choose to book with, so they can identify you.

4. User rights

You have the right to access and correct your data, or to request the permanent deletion of your account by contacting support, subject to the laws that require keeping financial records for specific periods.

5. Technical service providers

We use trusted technical service providers to operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, message and notification delivery, and artificial intelligence services used in some app features. They process data on our behalf and only to operate the service. We do not sell your data to anyone.

6. Instagram connection (clinics)

When a clinic connects its Instagram professional account from the Ihala dashboard (through Facebook Login), we receive, with its permission, the account's username and profile picture and the stories the clinic posts on its own account (the image or video and the posting time). We use this data only to show the clinic's stories on its page in Ihala for 24 hours after they are posted; if the clinic deletes a story on Instagram, we remove it from Ihala. We never post, comment or send messages on Instagram, we do not share this data with anyone, and access tokens are stored encrypted. The clinic can pause publishing or disconnect at any time: when it disconnects, we delete the connection data and access tokens immediately, and already published stories end within 24 hours of posting; when data deletion is requested, we delete all of it immediately.
